Scholarship
AAMA is proud to support the next generation of young talent pursuing an automotive manufacturing career in Alabama. In collaboration with the Alabama Community College System, AAMA offers an annual scholarship to students enrolled in a technical education certificate or associate degree program at one of the state’s 23 eligible community colleges. Scholarships in the amount of $4,000 are awarded for the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters and may be used to pay for tuition, books and other related fees.
AAMA Scholarship requirements include:
- Must be a resident of Alabama
- Must be a High School Senior or College Freshman
- Must have a 2.5 overall GPA
- Must have declared a major in one of the approved scholarship related programs:
- Mechatronics
- Automated Manufacturing Technology
- Industrial Electronics Technology
- Industrial Maintenance Technology
- Manufacturing Technology
- Injection Molding
- Machine Shop/Tool Technology/CNC
- Welding Technology
- Automotive Service Technician
- Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Design Technology
- Logistics
